The Landmark Hotel in London is one of the capital’s most celebrated five-star hotels. Furthermore, its Winter Garden, a glass-roofed atrium restaurant, hosts one of London’s finest afternoon tea services. Moreover, MyGlassStudio collaborated with Executive Chef Gary Klaner on creating stand designs for the hotel’s signature chocolate afternoon tea service and brunch presentations.

Chocolate Afternoon Tea Stand Design for The Winter Garden

Afternoon tea is one of England’s most celebrated traditions. Furthermore, as luxury hotels compete to offer the ultimate high tea experience, the presentation of sweets, pastries, and sandwiches has become as important as the food itself. Moreover, MyGlassStudio’s designers created a chocolate cake stand concept for The Landmark’s special Chocolate Afternoon Tea menu, a curated selection of chocolate-infused delicacies.

The design features a skyscraper-like metal stand with inlets for small glass trays on which food is displayed. Furthermore, MyGlassStudio selected bronze and silver-tinted metal bases for the chocolate cake stand, paired with small glass inlets with a crackled pattern in dynamic red. Moreover, the red pattern adds a vibrant accent to the petit fours and mignardise, bringing energy and warmth to the presentation.

Buffet Stands for Macarons and Brunch Service

Alongside the Winter Garden tea stands, MyGlassStudio also worked on buffet stands for the hotel’s signature brunch service and Executive Club Lounge events. Furthermore, MyGlassStudio paired large modular buffet stands in light bronze metallic tint with glass display shelves. Moreover, these stands proved perfect for dessert presentations, particularly for afternoon tea macarons and other petit fours.

The buffet stands were further accessorised with small glass double-staircase elevations for serving petit fours, mignardise, and canapés. Furthermore, this contrast of shapes and structures adds visual interest to the presentation. Moreover, each element works together to create a refined and cohesive high tea display.
