About Kafe Fontana, Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi

Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi is one of India’s most celebrated luxury properties, view the Incredible India Catalogue, known for its lavish interiors and pioneering culinary vision. Furthermore, MyGlassStudio collaborated with the hotel’s team to create Indian restaurant glass dinnerware for Kafe Fontana, the hotel’s all-day dining venue. Moreover, described as “a combination of Tuscan Palazzo and a Californian conservatory,” Kafe Fontana offers a 24-hour service with a blend of Indian and Mediterranean cuisines. In addition, the venue’s earthy décor features lighting that shifts throughout the day.

MyGlassStudio’s designers drew inspiration from the refreshing contrasts of the venue. Furthermore, the team created designer glass dinnerware for Indian restaurants using green glass tableware in lime green and dark green hues. Moreover, the collection covers bread and butter plates, side plates, and rectangular serving plates for sandwiches, pastry, and tea cookies. The green glass palette creates a fresh contrast against the wooden tables and black plate mats.

For this project, MyGlassStudio combined pieces from the MyGlassPlate, Tiger Glass, and MyGlassStudio collections. Furthermore, this approach delivered modern Indian restaurant dinnerware that is fresh, eclectic, and budget-conscious. Moreover, the result is a simple yet distinctive tabletop that communicates directly with the interior and ambiance of the venue.
