The brief was to create a simple, elegant table setting for one of Abu Dhabi’s most celebrated restaurant venues. Furthermore, the restaurant’s interior is dramatic, a backlit flame wall and an interplay of black, gold, and beige. Such a setting demands tableware of equal presence. Moreover, MyGlassStudio chose a focused approach. A single bespoke glass piece would carry the full design statement for the table.

The design uses a crystal pattern in black, directly echoing the colour spectrum of the interior and mirroring the dramatic flame wall motif. Furthermore, an elegant square shape was chosen to create visual harmony with the geometry of the overall table setting. Moreover, the result is a bespoke service plate that functions as the focal point of the cover, a piece that prepares the guest for the calibre of the experience ahead.
