Fine Dining Plates for La Grande Maison, Bordeaux

MyGlassStudio designed fine dining plates and modern shaped plates for fine dining at La Grande Maison. This legendary 18th-century mansion in Bordeaux is where Joël Robuchon elevated gastronomy to an art form. For this exceptional project, our tabletop designers created a bespoke collection of handmade glass plates. Each piece mirrors the innovative yet rooted philosophy of Robuchon’s cuisine. In addition, the collection includes gourmet dinner plates, a ceremonial table setting, and statement presentation objects.

The Art of Gastronomy Meets Fine Dining Plates

“La Grande Maison is all about art, the art of gastronomy, the art of wine,” said proprietor Bernard Magrez. Moreover, this vision demanded tableware that could match such a statement. MyGlassStudio answered with a curated selection of golden and black glass gourmet dinner plates. Each piece is handcrafted to frame Robuchon’s dishes with precision and elegance. Furthermore, every plate was chosen to reinforce the ceremonial spirit of the dining experience.

The sophisticated luxury of La Grande Maison inspired our designers deeply. They selected handmade golden and black glass plates that delicately frame Robuchon’s food creations. Also, the plate setting was designed to feel ceremonial. Each element contributes to the theatre of the meal.

Modern Shaped Plates for a Legendary Table

For this project, MyGlassStudio created bespoke shaped glass plates for this project. The collection balances artistry with function. It includes a golden double staircase canapé plate and small plates with a golden floral design. In addition, a palatial tree-shaped plate stand holds three small plates. MyGlassStudio also crafted minimal lux black glass trays. Furthermore, all pieces were made one by one by our skilled glass artists.

Michelin Excellence and the Perfect Table Setting

With 28 Michelin stars, Joël Robuchon was a perfectionist. He also holds the title Meilleur Ouvrier de France, the culinary equivalent of a Nobel prize. However, great cuisine deserves equally great tableware. Therefore, a table setting for La Grande Maison had to reflect that same level of care. MyGlassStudio shares this philosophy. For us, only the best is good enough.
