Moreover, it features an award-winning signature spa, an art gallery, and the world’s largest sky wave pool. The resort’s design draws on Chinese architecture and blends local tradition with contemporary furnishings and red accents throughout. In addition to the 50+ restaurants at Galaxy Macau, Banyan Tree Macau offers its own dining venues, including the signature Belon Oyster Bar & Grill, Saffron, Banyan Café, and Cabana Pool Bar. Therefore, it was the ideal setting for bespoke glass dinnerware.

Modern Blue Plates for Belon, Banyan Tree Macau

MyGlassStudio designed modern blue plates and custom glass tableware for Belon, the underwater fine dining restaurant at Banyan Tree Macau. Furthermore, Belon opened on 8 September 2011 and specialises in fresh seafood delicacies. Moreover, the restaurant creates a full aquatic atmosphere through a glass stairwell, a waterfall, and custom kinetic artwork. The décor incorporates forms that evoke waves, shells, jellyfish, and other aquatic life. In addition, the interior palette centres on cold white, silver, and blue tones. Therefore, the collection felt entirely at home in this aquatic space.

The Contemporary Blue Dinnerware Design

MyGlassStudio designed contemporary blue dinnerware that reflects the aquatic character of Belon’s interior. Furthermore, the show plates feature a refined silver mosaic pattern. Moreover, crystal chandeliers and delicate ornaments in the restaurant directly inspired this design. The bread and butter plates use a minimalist cobalt blue stripe. Therefore, together they create a cohesive table setting that flows between silver and blue. In addition, red accents on the tabletop accessories add a warm contrast to the cool blue and silver palette.

Hotel Blue Dinnerware. A Full Seafood Dining Collection

Beyond the show and side plates, MyGlassStudio supplied a comprehensive hotel blue dinnerware collection for Belon. Furthermore, it includes caviar sets, oyster plates, and custom-made oyster dishes designed specifically for the restaurant’s seafood focus. Moreover, the collection also features champagne buckets, specialty plates, ice cream dishes, and soufflé dishes. In addition, vase centrepieces and candle votives complete the table setting. Together, these pieces create a luxurious and unified dining environment that matches the underwater theatre of Belon.
