Moreover, MyGlassStudio worked with the hotel’s opening team on designing a chinese dining setup for Ming Xuan, including square show plates, glass cutlery rests, and authentic chinese soup bowls.
Chinese Dining Setup for Ming Xuan Fine Dining Restaurant
Ming Xuan enjoys serene views of the Yacht Club and Marina. Furthermore, the restaurant specialises in authentic Cantonese and Sichuanese cuisine, offering dishes such as chilled foie gras alongside crabs, lobsters, and local seafood paired with vermicelli noodles. Moreover, the décor reflects the emphasis on traditional Chinese dining, featuring round tables, oversized lantern decorations, cherry wood surfaces, and marble floors in muted warm tones. MyGlassStudio’s designers worked closely with the restaurant’s team to create a tabletop setting that matches the interior and the type of cuisine served. Furthermore, for the main dining section, MyGlassStudio created square show plates in pale green, featuring a “chess” pattern with a net of squares and circles. Moreover, this geometric motif complemented the Chinese dining theme while giving the tabletop a modern, contemporary character.
Private Dining Setup with Three-Plate Combination
For the private dining section, the chinese dining setup featured a more elaborate three-plate combination. Furthermore, the square show plate from the main dining section was combined with a round dining plate in a matching brown shade, alongside chinese noodle bowls designed for the soup and noodle courses. Moreover, a small appetizer plate in green completed the set, all three plates sharing the “chess” design to create a cohesive and distinguished table.

MyGlassStudio also designed glass cutlery rests for chopsticks and cutlery, an essential element of any Chinese table setting.
