About Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl, Doha

Marsa Malaz Kempinski is one of Doha’s most prestigious luxury hotels, located on The Pearl. Furthermore, the hotel team sought modern glass plate designs for restaurants to serve all outlets. The collection needed to be flexible enough to work across the entire property. Moreover, the hotel’s diverse interior palette required a design that blends with different colour environments. At the same time, each piece needed to maintain its own distinctive character. In addition, this project gave MyGlassStudio the chance to explore the artistic possibilities of glass in professional hospitality tableware.

MyGlassStudio’s designer Nana led the creative process, developing modern glass plate designs for restaurants in a ton-sur-ton pastel collection. Furthermore, she designed something dynamic and fresh, a universal collection for all hotel outlets in harmonious pastel shades. Moreover, tones of beautiful pastels blend together to form the MyGlassStudio “multicolor cloud” pattern. The result is a dreamy, feathery effect on the glass surface. In addition, every object matches the colour of each space. Every plate also matches the colour of the food it presents.

The multicolor cloud pattern is built entirely from pastel glass tones that shift subtly across the plate surface. Moreover, all participants in the project, from the production team to the Marsa Malaz Kempinski staff, responded with excitement to both the design process and the finished outcome.
