MyGlassStudio designed a unique lazy susan and custom made lazy susan for Silks. Crown Melbourne’s premier Chinese restaurant. This bespoke glass lazy susan was created to complete the restaurant’s table setting, where every element features golden details, from dinnerware and glassware with golden rims to golden utensils. Moreover, the rotating tray needed to feel like a natural part of this cohesive design language.
The Design. A Glass Lazy Susan in Arabesque Gold
The custom made lazy susan is made of clear glass with a golden geometrical pattern that MyGlassStudio calls the “Arabesque” pattern. Furthermore, the minimal lux style of the design matches Silks’ restaurant interior perfectly. The clear glass surface allows the food to take centre stage, while the golden pattern frames it with understated elegance.
