Marriott Hotel Riyadh is one of the largest luxury hotels in the Saudi capital, known for its comfort and warm Arabian hospitality. Furthermore, in June 2011 the hotel opened the Terrace Grill Restaurant to refresh its dining offer. Moreover, Terrace Grill Restaurant was conceptualised as a modern American steakhouse, offering premium beef cuts, chops, and seafood. In addition, MyGlassStudio collaborated with the restaurant’s opening team on bespoke hotel tableware design to match its bold identity.

MyGlassStudio’s designers worked with the restaurant’s opening team to create tableware designs that complement the menu and make a bold statement on the tabletop. Furthermore, the brief called for truly unique and memorable hotel tableware design. Moreover, the team developed a custom design for show plates that would immediately signal the restaurant’s culinary identity, prime cuts and bold flavours.

The hotel tableware design features an imprint of a bull in motion on a bold black background. Furthermore, MyGlassStudio created this using a unique icon application technique. Moreover, the dynamic bull image gives the tabletop a powerful look. In addition, the icon perfectly matches the restaurant’s menu of steaks and grills, foreshadowing the culinary journey ahead.
