Saffron Restaurant. Thai Style Dinnerware in an Oriental Setting
Saffron is a specialty dining venue that focuses on Thai cuisine and authentic Southeast Asian flavours. Furthermore, the restaurant creates a warm dining atmosphere while honouring the Oriental tradition of hospitality. Moreover, the décor uses wood as its primary element, present in decorative wall panels, mahogany floors, and dining furniture. The warm wood tones pair with accents of green and pastel pink and peach tones throughout. Therefore, the tabletop design needed to reflect this warmth while carrying a distinctly Thai character.

The Thai Dinnerware Design. Colour, Pattern and Shape
MyGlassStudio designed a collection of Thai dinnerware centred on warm orange glass. Furthermore, the design placed a clear accent on discreet yet elegant patterns at the corners of each plate. Moreover, the show plate uses clear glass with an orange pattern placed diagonally on the corners. The bread and butter plates feature orange glass with a pattern that gleams through hints of transparent surfaces. In addition, all pieces use elegant square shapes. Therefore, the square Thai tableware complemented the forms of interior elements throughout the venue, giving the table a clean, contemporary structure with an Oriental spirit.

Furthermore, this simple yet elegant approach complemented the traditional Thai food menu. Moreover, the combination of warm colours, square shapes, and delicate patterns gave the table setting a clear hint of Oriental atmosphere.
