About Tree Tops Restaurant, Anantara Lawana Resort & Spa

Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort & Spa in Thailand is part of the Anantara Hotels brand, known for laid-back luxury, intuitive service, and a sense of discovery. Furthermore, the resort’s signature Tree Tops restaurant offers a unique sky dining experience. Moreover, positioned among high tree branches in tall hut-like cottages, it overlooks the ocean and surrounding nature. It makes a perfect romantic retreat. In addition, MyGlassStudio was invited to create a bespoke custom dinner plate collection for this atmospheric venue.

Custom Dinner Plate Design. Concept and Inspiration

MyGlassStudio’s designers drew inspiration from Tree Tops’ unique atmosphere to develop custom shaped dinner plates for restaurants that reflect the venue’s character. Furthermore, the key tabletop pieces were the show plates and bread and butter plates. Moreover, taking cues from the restaurant’s simplistic décor, the designers chose pearly white as the backdrop. This colour complements the sense of serenity and contrasts well against the wooden tables and black plate mats.

The next step in the custom dinner plate design was the pattern. Furthermore, MyGlassStudio’s designers chose a Japanese tree motif. It perfectly matches the concept of al-fresco sky dining and connects with the restaurant’s name. Moreover, the pattern appears as a clear space on the white glass background. This creates a dramatic effect when the plates sit on the black plate mats.

Logo Integration and Brand Identity at Tree Tops

The designs also incorporated the Tree Tops restaurant logo into these tabletop pieces. Furthermore, this addition gives each plate a final stamp of exclusivity. It reinforces the restaurant’s brand at every place setting. Moreover, these designs demonstrate how a thoughtful design process, fusing the restaurant concept and atmosphere into every plate, creates a truly unique tabletop experience.
