Dessert Display at Wing Lei, Wynn Las Vegas
MyGlassStudio designed a bespoke dessert display and tiered display stands, view the Buffet Catering & Bar Lounge Catalogue for a special event at Wing Lei, the Michelin-starred fine dining Asian restaurant at Wynn Resort, Las Vegas. Wing Lei specialises in “Haute Chinese” cuisine, blending Cantonese, Shanghai, and Szechuan flavours through Western cooking techniques. Furthermore, it was the first Asian restaurant in the United States to receive a Michelin Star. It also holds the title of Best Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas. Therefore, any dessert display for this venue needed to match its extraordinary reputation.
Wynn Resort. The Standard for Fine Dining in Las Vegas
Wynn Resort sits on the famous Las Vegas Boulevard and earns consistent recognition as one of the finest hotels in the world. Since its opening in 2005, Wynn has earned AAA Five Diamond, Forbes Five Star, and Michelin Five Star ratings. Furthermore, it offers an impressive choice of ten fine dining restaurants, ten casual dining venues, and six exclusive bars and lounges. In addition, it holds more Forbes award-winning restaurants than any other resort in the United States. Therefore, the standard for tabletop design at Wynn is exceptionally high, and the standard had to rise to that level.
The Dessert Display Stand. Four Tiers of Wavy Glass
MyGlassStudio collaborated with Wynn’s Executive Pastry Chef Pierre Gatel to create a custom tiered stand for the Wing Lei event. Furthermore, the brief called for dessert table display stands that could present individual dessert servings beautifully while also serving as a cupcake stand when needed. Moreover, the stand had to feel at home in one of the world’s most opulent fine dining environments.

To create the dessert table display stands, MyGlassStudio used the large “frame” buffet elevation design as a foundation. The stand has a massive rectangular metal frame. It supports four tiers of wavy glass platters. In addition, the design allows for beautiful double-sided presentation, meaning guests can approach from either side and enjoy the presentation equally. Furthermore, the wavy platters add organic movement. This contrasts gently with the rigid rectangular frame.
Extra Clear Glass. Designed for a Fine Dining Venue
To blend with the opulent decor of Wing Lei, MyGlassStudio selected extra clear glass for every platter. Furthermore, this creates a neat yet upscale look. The desserts themselves take centre stage. Moreover, the glass clarity reflects the ambient lighting. This adds a shimmer that guests immediately notice. Therefore, the result is understated yet unmistakably luxurious, perfectly suited to Michelin-starred fine dining.
