About Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas opened in November 2011 on Saadiyat Island. At launch, its 306 luxury rooms, suites, and private residences made it the world’s largest Park Hyatt property. The hotel offers four multicultural dining venues, an Anantara spa, swimming pools, and a full fitness programme. MyGlassStudio collaborated with the opening team to create hotel tableware design for the all-day dining venue The Café, the tea lounge The Library, and guest room amenities. This post focuses on our modern design tableware for The Library tea lounge.
Dessert Stands, Trays and Serving Bowls in Clear Glass with Bronze and Silver
The Library is a contemporary tea lounge offering afternoon tea, coffee specialties, gourmet chocolates, and French pastries. The lounge was conceived as a venue for intimate, less formal gatherings. Its décor features clean geometric lines and a striking contrast between burgundy and beige furniture, orange walls, and black marble elements. Therefore, the hotel tableware design had to reflect discreet luxury, elegant without competing with the refined interior.

MyGlassStudio created dinnerware pieces that match the venue’s décor and correspond to its dessert-centred menu. The modern design tableware programme included cake stands, dessert trays, and serving bowls. Each piece was designed in clear glass with touches of bronze and silver, perfectly suited to the lounge’s aesthetic of understated sophistication.

The programme includes round and rectangular dessert stands in clear glass. Metal stands and glass cloche tips add a sophisticated shine to each piece. MyGlassStudio uses these stands for presenting chocolate truffles, macarons, and mignardises. In addition, each piece reflects the refined tableware design ethos, where even a minimal approach creates a strong sense of luxury in food presentation.
