Steakhouse Tabletop at New York Steakhouse, Renaissance Doha
MyGlassStudio designed a refined steakhouse tabletop collection for New York Steakhouse, the signature steakhouse restaurant at Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel. Furthermore, the hotel launched in October 2011 and became part of the “West End Doha” project, a one-stop destination for dining and leisure with seven distinct venues. Moreover, New York Steakhouse delivers a classic American steakhouse experience, offering meat and seafood dishes paired with an extensive wine selection. Therefore, the steakhouse tabletop design had to honour the warm, traditional character of fine American steakhouse dining.

New York Steakhouse features warm, dark interiors with wooden tables and red leather booths. Furthermore, the restaurant aims to embody the rich tradition of fine American steakhouses. Moreover, MyGlassStudio’s designers worked closely with long-term collaborator Chef Christian Jean to create tableware that matches the interior and creates a memorable dining experience. In addition, the overall steakhouse restaurant tabletop concept balances classic elegance with a contemporary glass aesthetic. Therefore, the collection needed to feel both timeless and artistically distinct.

Steakhouse Tablescape. Copper, Gold and Chocolate Brown
The steakhouse tablescape for New York Steakhouse follows the warm colour palette of the restaurant’s interior. Furthermore, show plates use copper and matt gold with a subtle abstract pattern, adding a classic yet stylish accent without overpowering the food. Moreover, dessert plates feature chocolate brown glass that echoes the dark warmth of the wooden tables. In addition, the collection includes signature starter dishes, a modern butter dish, and a custom-made sauce presentation designed specifically for steak service.

Furthermore, each show plate’s abstract pattern is unique, much like the Batik-inspired designs found throughout the hotel’s artistic décor. Moreover, a playful combination of round and square shapes adds a contemporary flair to the food presentation. Therefore, New York Steakhouse gains a table identity that is both grounded in American tradition and elevated by modern glass artistry.
